Jacksonville’s Leaders To Be Honored At Annual First Coast Business Hall of Fame: "Celebrating the Extraordinary"

Jacksonville, November 2024 – The Jacksonville region is home to a wealth of extraordinary business and civic leaders. With a rich history in transportation and healthcare, our historic First Coast has continually produced distinguished leaders. The Florida Council on Economic Education (FCEE) is thrilled to shine the spotlight on these leaders each year at the First Coast Business Hall of Fame, where their achievements take center stage.

This year, the FCEE will host the prestigious luncheon on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. The event’s theme, “Celebrating the Extraordinary,” will bring a lively, circus-inspired atmosphere to the day’s festivities. Attendees can look forward to vibrant entertainment and whimsical décor as we celebrate extraordinary achievements. The event will honor a new class of outstanding leaders: Eric Green of JAXPORT; Jack Hanania, Founder of Hanania Automotive Group; Joe Hinrichs, President & CEO of CSX; and Ari Jolly, VP & Assistant General Counsel of Florida Blue.

Event Chair, Jeanne M. Augspurger, Esq., Hall of Fame Class of 2022, remarked on the importance of the event:
"This event is more than just a celebration of extraordinary leadership; it’s a powerful reminder of the impact these individuals have on our community. By honoring their contributions, we not only reflect on their remarkable achievements but also inspire future generations to follow in their footsteps and continue building a brighter future for our region."

For over 25 years, the FCEE has honored business leaders from Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, Clay, and Baker counties for their professional achievements and civic contributions. Previous Hall of Fame honorees from across the region will attend this prestigious event, which celebrates individuals who exemplify outstanding contributions to free enterprise, business excellence, inspiring leadership, and social responsibility. The Class of 2024 embodies these qualities and will serve as role models for future generations.

The men and women inducted into this prestigious group form the backbone of our community. Their efforts have made this region a better place to live and work, building a brighter future for Jacksonville and Florida’s workforce.

The FCEE’s mission focuses on the future. Across the state, the FCEE’s K-12 programs promote critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and personal finance skills in young people, building a bridge between what students learn in the classroom and how they apply it to everyday life. The future of our First Coast youth is the future of Florida and the nation.

Drummond Press and Raymond James proudly support the event as Presenting Sponsors. Sponsorships and seats are still available.
